If you are interested in getting involved with ACM, the best way is to start showing up at our general meetings and events. We generally have at least one general event per month and you do not need to be a member to attend. There are no restrictions on membership to PSU student ACM chapter. You just need show up to the meetings. We welcome your participation in both organizational and social activities.

Some of the benefits of joining the local chapter include meeting people with similar interests, Local-level networking, Fun events and activities for developing an IT career, Workshops to help strengthen your resume and IT job searches, Leadership opportunities, and more.

Becoming a member of the PSU ACM is easy and you do not have to be a member of the national organization, though both have their advantages. Feel free to contact any of the officers with any questions you might have.

The easiest way to get involved in the PSU ACM is to first join our group on the ANGEL course management system. All annoucements regarding general meetings and upcoming activities are sent to this group. To join, please follow these steps:

[1] Go to ANGEL
[2] Click on My Groups
[3] Click on Find a Group
[4] In the search box type: ACM
[5] The first returned seach results should be "ACM Chapter at PSU"
[6] Click on Enroll (no pin required)

Thats it! Once you have successfully enrolled in the group, you can browse through presentations, photos, and much more. If you have an idea for a project or activity, please feel free to contact us. Were always open to new ideas!
